Sight loss has practical and emotional consequences. It can restrict social and personal interaction, and lead to isolation. It can remove a person’s independence as they have to rely on others for simple day-to-day tasks. It can be dangerous and scary as people have to re-learn how to safely use their kitchen, move around their home, and go outside.
Sight loss can be devastating. Not everyone with sight loss needs our help, but many do. With your help, we can be there to make sure people don’t just survive, but thrive after sight loss. Thank you.
