Our Virtual Hubs

Our virtual hubs offer a welcoming online space for people affected by sight loss to connect, share experiences, exchange tips, and most importantly, enjoy friendly conversation in a relaxed setting.

For University Students

This University Students’ Virtual Hub is specifically tailored for over-18s who are visually impaired and studying at Level 4 or above. It offers a supportive environment where you can share experiences, exchange tips, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges and achievements of your university journey.

Led by Volunteers

Our hubs are run by dedicated volunteers who ensure you feel right at home. Meet your host of this virtual hub, Saud, who will guide the sessions and create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

“Hi all! I’m Saud, an international psychology student here in the UK. I’m really passionate about mental health and creating spaces where people can feel supported and connected. Hosting the Students’ Virtual Hub is something I’m genuinely excited about, as it’s a great way to meet new people and share experiences. Can’t wait to meet you all and get started!”

How to Join

If you’re interested in joining this fortnightly virtual hub, simply get in touch with us to register. You can:

Once you’ve registered, we’ll send you all the details you need to join the sessions via Teams. If you’re unfamiliar with Teams, don’t worry — we’re happy to help you get set up and confident in using it. There’s no need to book each time, and you’re welcome to attend as often or as little as you like —there’s no pressure or obligation.
