Volunteer with us
Could you give your time to help local blind and partially sighted people?
We are always looking for friendly and dedicated people to join our team of volunteers. Whatever skills and experience you have, we’d love to hear from you. We have a wide range of volunteer roles available, including office roles, befrienders, fundraisers and designers.
Accessibility is of course very important to us. We are really happy to discuss how to make any volunteer role accessible to you. We can provide training if you’re looking to develop new skills. And of course, there will be lots of support from our friendly team.
We have charity shops in Salisbury, Devizes, Thornbury and Trowbridge. We are looking for volunteers for each of these shops.
Our volunteering roles are listed at the bottom of this page. If you’d like an informal chat about opportunities, please email volunteering@sightsupportwest.org.uk or call our Volunteer Coordinator, Becs, on 07849 833 047. Alternatively, you can contact your local office to find out more about opportunities at Wiltshire Sight, Insight Gloucestershire or Sight Support West of England.
You can apply for any of our roles by completing this form
