Devizes Resource Centre – Appointment Only on Wednesdays

Our Devizes Resource Centre is available by appointment each Wednesday. Friends and family are welcome to join you during your visit. To book an appointment, please contact us.

At the Resource Centre, a knowledgeable Sight Loss Advisor will provide information, advice, and guidance to help manage the challenges that sight loss can bring.

What we offer:

The Resource Centre features a wide range of equipment that can be demonstrated, and our Community Sight Loss Advisor can assist in identifying which daily living aids may support your independence. They can also:

• Offer strategies for managing at home.
• Explain your eye condition and the process of registration and certification of sight loss.
• Advise on reading options and solutions.
• Provide guidance on maintaining independence when out and about.
• Support you in using everyday gadgets like mobile phones and tablets.
• Introduce you to specialist electronic magnification tools.
• Inform you about local and online socialising opportunities.
• Advise on financial and employment matters.
• Share information about our services including our twice-yearly magazine, monthly e-newsletter, and any upcoming events.
• Connect you with other helpful organisations.
